Program Management

What do Program Managers do?
A Vasco Pay Program Manager will provide you with expert guidance on what would be the best payment solution to suit the specific needs of your company. They will then work closely with you to launch a successful prepaid card, gift card or virtual accounts program. Your Program Manager will also be there to provide you with ongoing management and tailored advice as you onboard your customers.

How much will it cost?
Cost is very dependent on which payment solution you decide to implement. We offer a basic turnkey payment program (where you simply add your brand) or you can choose specific components of a payment solution to fit your company’s needs. How quickly can I get my card program up and running?
Your card program could be up and running in as little as ten weeks. However, the speed to market will ultimately depend both on the complexity of your payment solution and on how quickly your team works towards implementation. Our goal is to get you to market as quickly as possible, so we’ll be working along with your team to ensure your program launch can take place as fast as possible.

Is Vasco Pay a startup?
While the name Vasco Pay may be new, we are owned by award-winning software company Novatti, which has been ASX listed since 1996. Novatti is a holding group of five companies that specialise in processing payments. This makes us part of a knowledgeable team of experts with the years of experience necessary to excel in operating all aspects of a successful card program. Is my money safe?
Your customers’ funds will be held at the ANZ, one of Australia’s largest and most trusted banks. Please feel free to contact our office to learn more about our rigorous security measures and the lengths we go to, to ensure your customer’s funds stay safe.

What is a virtual account?
A virtual account is an account that is created for each of your paying customers, ready for instant spending through various distributors and merchants. Virtual accounts are a great cash management tool in today’s world of payments.

What is the benefit of virtual cards?
Virtual cards are great for businesses looking to automate the supplier payment process. They’re also ideal for online shoppers looking for a safer way to make ‘one-off’ payments through online stores. Costing less to produce and with the benefits of instant issuance, virtual accounts are fantastic for retailer marketing campaigns or for disbursing employee incentive programs.

Do you have a white-label app?
Vasco Pay offers a white-label app solution to all customers, providing you with access to a user-friendly app as you launch your prepaid program. This app will allow your customers to login, activate their card and check their account balance, just to mention a few of its many features. Do you offer tailored card programs ready for my brand?
Yes, we have a tailored card program that is perfect for getting your program up and running with minimal fuss. This tailored program will feature your company’s brand name and logo, which will help to increase customer loyalty and, in turn, revenue along the way. A prepaid card is excellent for use as part of a customer reward program and is an ideal choice for retail customers looking to save time and money.

What is Pays?
The various ‘Pays’ currently available (Apple Pay, Samsung Pay and Google Pay) allow you to make secure in-store purchases by utilising certain apps and participating websites.

Can the cards issued in your program be added to Apple Pay, Google Pay and Samsung Pay?
We will be adding Apple Pay, Google Pay (formerly Android Pay) and Samsung Pay as an option for the cards issued under our program, coming into effect during the first quarter of 2020. There are specific requirements you will need to meet, depending on which ‘Pay’ you would like and how it will be utilised. Rest assured, we will be on hand to guide you smoothly through the entire process.

How can I use my Vasco Pay card?
You can use your card to pay via online shopping, in-store, Paywave, or withdraw cash from an ATM. To reload your card, transfer money from an Australian bank account.

How long does it take to receive money on your account?
While it’s often shorter, it can take up to 2 days for money to hit your account. If the transferrer is a Vasco Pay member, you will receive the money instantaneously.

Can I use Vasco Pay overseas?
Of course! You can use your Vasco Pay card at any ATM and anywhere that accepts Visa, the most widely accepted payment issuer in the world.

Can I load multiple currencies?
At this stage, you can only load AUD through bank to bank transfers.

Can I receive my salary and/or government benefits on my Vasco Pay account?
Absolutely, all your need to do is retrieve your Vasco Pay Account and BSB number and provide them to your employer or government agency.

Are there any limits to the card?
Yes, with a standard Vasco Pay card, your maximum card balance is $999. You can upgrade to the premium card for a maximum card balance of $15,000. See below table for a comparison of features and contact us if you want to upgrade your card.

What do I do if I lose my card?
You can log in your account online, and instantly block your card so that it becomes temporarily inactive. We advise that you report your card as lost or stolen to us as soon as possible, so that we can issue you a new card.
