  • What is Vasco Pay?
    We’re a dedicated prepaid Visa card for daily spending, debt management and fraud protection. Members of Vasco Pay also receive weekly deals emails offering you with deals from over 100+ local retailers.
  • Who is it for?
    Vasco Pay is for everyone and anyone living permanently or staying temporarily in Australia. Our customers are made up of workers, employers, students, travellers and visitors to Australia.
  • Can I apply for credit?
    Sorry, no credit is available, we’re a prepaid card only. This means that you spend only what you have on the account. Once you receive your card in the mail you must first load funds, which can take 1 to 2 business days, before you’ll be able to use your card for purchases.
  • How will Vasco Pay help me save money?
    We’re helping you save in a number of ways, by offering you no fees. Not to mention, when you sign up you get access to a bunch of great deals that will help you save when you shop!
  • What’s the difference between a prepaid and a debit card?
    The main difference is that prepaid cards are not linked to a bank account, unlike debit and credit cards. Prepaid means that you only spend what you have on your account, using your own money.
  • How secure is the Vasco Pay card?
    Vasco Pay is a secure prepaid card that separates your personal bank account details and sensitive information – keeping you more protected when using your card online or overseas.
  • Is Vasco Pay a bank?
    No, Vasco Pay is not a bank but we partner with Heritage Bank – Australia’s largest mutual bank.
  • Who owns Vasco Pay?
    Vasco Pay is a wholly owned subsidiary of Novatti Group (ASX:NOV), a software technology company headquartered in Melbourne, Victoria.

Using Vasco Pay

  • How do I get started with Vasco Pay?
    Getting started with Vasco Pay is super simple! Sign up for free in 2 minutes, and wait for your card to arrive in the mail within 10 business days. You can then activate your card via our website and load money onto your account. Click here for instructions to activate your account.
  • How can I use my Vasco Pay card?
    You can use your card to pay via online shopping, in-store, Paywave, or withdraw cash from an ATM. To reload your card, transfer money from your own bank account, or receive money from other Australian or overseas bank account.
  • How long does delivery take?
    If you’re currently in Australia, you should have your card within 10 business days. All orders are process the same day, but given we must design and print your card, we are not able to ship them the same day.
  • How long does it take to receive money on your account?
    While it’s often shorter, it can take up to 2 days for money to hit your account. If the transferrer is a Vasco Pay member, you will receive the money instantaneously.
  • Can I use Vasco Pay overseas?
    Of course! You can use your Vasco Pay card at any ATM and anywhere that accepts Visa, the most widely accepted payment issuer in the world.
  • Can I receive funds from people overseas?
    Yes, you can! Your family and friends overseas can transfer money directly to your Vasco Pay account. Read more about what’s required here.
  • Can I load multiple currencies?
    At this stage, you can only load AUD through bank to bank transfers.
  • Can I receive my salary and/or government benefits on my Vasco Pay account?
    Absolutely, all your need to do is retrieve your Vasco Pay Account and BSB number and provide them to your employer or government agency.
  • Are there any limits to the card?
    Yes, with a standard Vasco Pay card, your maximum card balance is $999. You can upgrade to the premium card for a maximum card balance of $15,000. See below table for a comparison of features and contact us if you want to upgrade your card.
  • What do I do if I lose my card?
    You can log in your account online, and instantly block your card so that it becomes temporarily inactive. We advise that you report your card as lost or stolen to us as soon as possible, so that we can issue you a new card.
